UQ searching for QWAFL redemption

UQ will be seeking redemption in its QWAFL clash  with Griffith Moorooka tomorrow.

The Red Lionesses suffered a disappointing loss in their last match up and they will be keen to make amends for that on Saturday afternoon.

Both teams will be raring to go after two weeks off with the league bye and a split round, and it will certainly be a hard fought contest.

A win for UQ would give them breathing space on current seventh-placed Griffith Moorooka, keeping them out of wooden spoon territory.

Coolangatta hosts Coorparoo in their Rd 13 clash, in what will be a testing match for the Bluebirds.

The Bluebirds have improved steadily through the year and they’ll be hoping to snatch an upset over the ladder-leading Navy Roos, on their home turf at Peak Oval.

These two matches complete the QWAFL Rd 13 action.
