Our women’s program is ever-growing and developing at SPAFC with great success. Last year our Seniors were the 2022 QFAW Div 1 Premiers, this year our Seniors have made finals again. These available roles present a great opportunity for a coach to lead and continue the development of our women’s program as part of a club that supports both teams and provides an outstanding club culture as we act as one big family club.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a passion for the long-term success of the pathway and be able to foster strong development in an enjoyable and inclusive environment.
All applicants are expected to have great communication skills, demonstrated knowledge and ability in AFL, along with a minimum Level 1 coaching certification, and a current Blue Card (or an ability to obtain one) is required.
We also want our head coach to be able to work in a collaborative manner with the club’s senior men’s and youth coaches.
With a great participation base coming through our club juniors, we think this is a terrific role for someone who is willing to grow it with a long-term view.
