The Kedron Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for coaches to get involved with our Women’s Program in 2020.

Kedron AFC was formed in 1937 and has had some great success over that period in men’s football. In recent years the focus has expanded to bringing the same success to the women’s space. Fresh from a QFAW Division 1 Premiership and an improved Division 2 North position of 6th, the planning has already begun to continue to develop our program for season 2020.

Central to our evolution as a program is the encouragement of women to apply to join our coaching ranks as we are firmly of the belief that the future success of Kedron’s women’s program and the game in general will be greatly enhanced when suitably qualified women are coaching at the highest level.

For Season 2020 we are looking to fill the following positions:

Senior Coach
QFAW Division 1 Assistant Coaches
QFAW Division 2 Coaches

The Senior Coach will be expected to drive the standards and growth of the female program across all sides while being the Match Day lead for the Division 1 side.

Division 1 Assistant Coaches will be tasked with developing new and existing players in their bid for back to back premierships.

The structure of the Division 2 coaching group is flexible. We are open to Co-Coaches or standard coach with assistants. The key role for this group will be to develop new players to the game and as a consequence increase the talent pool across both teams.

To be accepted for these roles, you will need to hold a minimum of Level 1 coaching accreditation or be willing to obtain the required accreditation, demonstrate leadership qualities, good communications skills and be able to work with a broad range of people.

A growth mindset and a ‘hands-on’, ‘can-do’ approach is a must.
