QFA Matches of the Round

NORTH
Noosa vs Maroochydore
Saturday July 23, 2:15pm – Weyba Rd

Both teams come off big wins last week with Maroochydore knocking off Caloundra and Noosa thumping Moreton Bay by 75 points.

Maroochydore will want to maintain their one win buffer at the top of the table while Noosa will be eyeing off second place.

Last time they played was round 8 with the Roos claiming the win by 25 points.

Jackson Ryan will be important for Maroochydore on the day after kicking three goals last week while Nicholas Hill will be dangerous if he continues his form for Noosa.

Noosa will need to play their best footy if they are to knock off the league leaders, but they are a chance.

SOUTH
Kenmore vs Yeronga South Brisbane
Saturday July 23, 2:00pm – Western Districts Oval

With both teams locked on 38 points and a place in the top four up for grabs, this is going to be one hell of a match.

Kenmore have the momentum going into this one after a big win over Coolangatta Tweed by over 20 goals last weekend.

Meanwhile, Yeronga had a disappointing hit-out against flag favourites Coorparoo, going down by 12 goals.

Glenn Boyd kicked five for Yeronga and will be a target once again this week whereas Jake De Winter will be instrumental for Kenmore after an arguably best on ground performance last week.

This one is extremely close to call and could go either way on the day.
