Pine Rivers Swans Coaching Roles

Pine Rivers Swans is a family friendly, community-based local AFL club with a rich history, dating back over 50 years. In 2023 the club’s culture grew to unprecedented heights gaining support from the local community and afar.

Pine Rivers field teams and programs from Kinderkick through to Senior Men and Women with all our eligible teams making the finals in their respective divisions in 2023. Pine Rivers are seeking coaches who can work in a cohesive manner with all grades and teams to continue building a successful one club culture.

Pine Rivers Men 2024 – The Men’s senior team competed in the QFA Division 3 North competition on a Friday night during 2023. The club’s vision is to return to Division 2 North in 2024 and field both senior and reserve grade sides.

We are seeking applications to join our expanding men’s coaching program as we build towards Division 2 in 2024. Roles are to commence as soon as possible with a focus on planning for the pre-season, player retention, talent identification and recruitment. Roles include:

Reserve grade coach,
Assistant/line coaches
Development coach.

Pine Rivers Women 2024 – Our senior women’s team play on a Saturday afternoon in the Division 2 North competition.

We are seeking applications for our Women’s 2024 Head Coach. The role presents a great opportunity for a coach to lead, mentor and continue the development of our women’s program as part of a club that supports all teams and provides an outstanding club culture.

Application:
Coaches seeking appointments should hold a minimum of a Foundation Coaching accreditation or can obtain this by registering and completing the free online course on coach AFL. Women’s Head Coach should hold a Level 2 Coaching Accreditation, or be willing to obtain it prior to the commencement of the 2024 season.
