Sherwood Magpies AFC Coaching Roles

The Sherwood Districts Australian Football Club (Sherwood Magpies) is an inclusive club that offers the best possible personal and football development for all players, of all abilities, in a family friendly and community driven environment.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Sherwood Football Club is now seeking to appoint both Senior, Reserves and Assistant Coaches for the 2024 season.

These are ideal roles for either credentialed coaches or experienced players seeking to transition into coaching / mentoring positions within a highly supportive and positive learning environment.

Full support with obtaining AFL coaching accreditation is provided.

We are open to discussion on these coaching roles being either playing or non-playing.

TEAM WITHIN A TEAM

We get it, coaching a football team can seem like a highly daunting prospect however with a supportive coaching team the workload can be shared making the experience sustainable and rewarding!

Coaches requiring some flexibility are encouraged to get in contact as we would like to work as a team to support each other throughout the course of the season. We are empathetic to family / work / life commitments which may mean you need to miss sessions or the occasional match. We would prefer great people for some of the time rather than not at all, so let’s have a chat and see what we can make work.
