Mayne AFC Senior Coach

The Mayne Football Club is one of the oldest clubs and most decorated clubs in Queensland celebrating their 100th year in 2024.
The club has achieved eighteen senior premierships in it’s long history, the most recent being in 2016. The club currently participates in the QFA Division 1 competition in South East Queensland. The club currently has a very talented list with a significant number of developing players. The club has been a regular in the finals for many years.

The Mayne Tigers field teams in men’s and women’s competitions and prides itself on having a respectful culture which values all members of it’s community including coaches, players, volunteers, members and supporters.

The Senior club fields four teams, Seniors, Reserves, Thirds and Women’s. The Seniors and Reserves participate in QFA Division1 while the Third Grade are in Division 3 and the Women in Division 2 North.

The Senior Coaching position, playing or non playing, is responsible for setting the agenda for the club’s ongoing player development across all the senior teams but is primarily responsible for oversight and development of the Seniors and Reserves squad.
It is expected that the Senior Coach will lead a group of established and qualified assistant coaches. They will also participate in all off field social activities ensuring that the playing group also are fully engaged in the club’s culture.

The Senior Coach will assist the club’s Football Director in recruitment and retention of the playing group to ensure the club maximises it opportunities for success.

It is anticipated that the successful applicant will have Level 2 Accreditation and regularly participate in ongoing professional development.

A suitable remuneration package will be negotiated.
