Gorillas ready for QWAFL debut

Wilston Grange will have a tough first-up QWAFL test, when they face Yeronga on Sunday.

The Gorillas had a first-round bye, but now they face the Devils, and will immediately find out where they stand in the competition.

The two top of the table sides, Zillmere and Coorparoo, face off tomorrow, in what should e a massive clash.

Zillmere had a big win in the first round of the competition, while Coorparoo managed a comfortable victory over 2013 grand finalists, Yeronga.

Coolangatta and Griffith Moorooka fight it out on the Coast, with the Reds keen to notch their first win of the season after a disappointing opening round.

The Bluebirds finished strongly against UQ last week and will be hoping to continue that momentum into their second round clash.

UQ has a bye this week, before taking on reigning premiers, Coorparoo, in round three.
