With the Byron Bay AFL 9s Invitational just weeks away, teams are urged to register to secure their place.

The two-day Byron Bay event is first cab off the rank, following on from the success of last year’s inaugural event
AFL Queensland Participation Programs Coordinator Marc Seen said in addition to the inclusion off a Master’s Division changes other changes had been made to enhance the event.
“Most of the teams are friends looking for an excuse to catch-up post-season, which fitted in perfectly with that Byron Bay area,” said Seen.
“So this year we’ve been pitching as a little more of a footy trip.”
“We’ve tweaked it so that it’s on a Friday and Saturday, with a closing party that night, so that it gives them a little more social time.”
