Coolangatta will be hoping to clinch a vital QWAFL win over Yeronga tomorrow.
The Bluebirds are coming off a nail biting victory over UQ and a win against the Devils would see them potentially leapfrog the 2012 premiers into third spot.
Yeronga will be looking for redemption after a second loss to Coorparoo in a month, with the side wanting to stay in touch with the top two Roos and Zillmere Eagles.
The Eagles take on UQ, who are searching for consistency after their Round four thriller, under lights at O’Callaghan Park.
That match will be the main event in an inaugural women’s double header at Zillmere, with the teams’ respective QWAFA sides facing off in a curtain-raiser.
Wilston Grange and Griffith Moorooka play out one of the more pivotal clashes of the round, at Hickey Park tomorrow afternoon.
The Reds will be desperate to notch their first win in the QWAFL competition, after showing improvement early in the year.
The Gorillas pushed Zillmere all the way last weekend and a win over Griffith Moorooka would keep them in touch with the top QWAFL sides, in their debut season.
Defending premiers, Coorparoo, have the bye.
