AFL Queensland has been in contact today with clubs who are in close proximity to the latest COVID-19 case announcements and those clubs who have an association with the school that has been recently affected.
Although we have not received any formal advice from the Queensland Health at this point, clubs in that region have taken the proactive stance to cancel training this week.
We will continue to monitor the situation and work with Queensland Health and clubs as required.
Rest assured the health and wellbeing of our players is paramount and our priority is to ensure we keep all players, parents and officials up to date with all the latest health advice from the Queensland Government.
