The Courier Mail and AFL are proud to present the 2018 AFL Queensland Season Launch on Tuesday, March 20, at the Gambaro Hotel in Brisbane from 12-2:30pm.
The AFL Queensland Season Launch will provide Queensland AFL fans the opportunity to hear first hand from AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan, who will deliver the keynote address, on the game’s strategic challenges and opportunities in the coming years.
The launch will include a panel discussion hosted by Fox Sports journalist Neroli Meadows, featuring Brisbane Lions coach Chris Fagan, new Gold Coast Suns coach Stuart Dew, their respective club captains Dayne Beams, Tom Lynch and Steven May and Brisbane Lions’ AFLW player Sabrina Frederick-Traub.
AFL Queensland CEO, Dean Warren, said the event aims to celebrate Australian Rules football in the state.
“This launch lunch is the first time that the Queensland AFL community has come together to celebrate and launch the Toyota AFL Premiership Season,” he said.
“In partnership with The Courier Mail, the Gold Coast Suns and Brisbane Lions, we want to make this a must attend event on the Queensland sporting calendar.
“Both coaches, along with their respective club captains – Dayne Beams, Tom Lynch and Steven May – will provide insights in the lead up to Round 1 of the Toyota AFL Premiership season in a panel discussion.”
Tickets for the event are $149 for a singe seat or $1400 for a table of 10.
All tickets need to be booked by March 14.
