Queensland School sport is sending its first 16yrs girls AFL team to the School Sport Australia (SSA) Championships to be held in Sydney from the 19th – 26th July 2014.
Sunshine School Sport Region in conjunction with the Queensland School Sport (QSS) 13-19yrs Australian Football Committee proudly hosted the inaugural QSS 16yrs Girls Australian Football State Championships at Maroochydore Multi-sports Complex from 3-6 May.
The following squad was chosen after completion of the championships.
