Yeronga South Brisbane Football Club – Coaching Roles

Yeronga has a long and proud history in AFL within QLD.
Our values are grounded in a people centered, strengths-based community approach to football where Respect, Inclusion and Contribution are at the heart of our club.

Across our programs we are seeking expressions of interest to join us as we build toward 2024.
Offering a women’s state league and men’s Div 2 program we have unique opportunities as we build our coaching team out. Roles across both our QAFLW and QFA Div 2 men’s program are available. Roles include assistant coaches, lines coaches and development roles.

Yeronga is focused at developing coaches at all levels with a commitment also to the development of women in coaching. We have an established program for women in coaching by partnering with our youth program and working closely with AFLQ for support.

As such we welcome expressions of interest from varied coaching experience, you may be looking to hone your craft, or your experience may see you be able to help mentor our developing coaches, as well as players. Where not held, a commitment to obtaining level 2 accreditation is a must.

We are committed to the success of our senior teams, reaching their full potential as well continuing to nurture our youth pathways into the senior club. Our coaching team will be supported by the head of football and wider committee and club.
