Searching for an AFL Star is a full-time profession employing scores of recruiting personnel across the country, and now you could be part of the action.
AFL Queensland is excited to offer the AFL Talent Identification Course as part of NAB AFL Draft week on the Gold Coast.
It’s not just AFL selectors that create great footballers, but countless others that have enormous impact as players move through local, regional, state and national level squads.
The AFL’s talent identification course is designed to develop identification and recruiting skills, focusing particularly on talent ID for regional, state and potential AFL level.
It will leave attendees in a position to make educated decisions about player potential.
AFL National Talent Manager Kevin Sheehan said now was an exciting time in AFL for future players as the game grows and expands.
“The opportunity for young aspiring future AFL Stars has never been greater with the expansion of the AFL Competition.
The course is suitable for everyone and no talent ID experience is required.
The AFL Talent Identification course will run on Saturday November 24, cost is $90 including lunch.
