Volunteer & Coach Awards noms close soon

Volunteers are the backbone of our game, and without their input community clubs simply couldn’t function.

Volunteer and Coach recognition is vital to distinguish the special people making it possible to run AFL in Queensland.

The 2013 AFL Queensland Volunteer and Coach awards celebrate those people.

Award categories include Junior Club Volunteer, Junior League Volunteer, Senior League Volunteer, Junior Coach, Youth Coach, Female Coach and Senior Coach.

Winners of regional level awards become automatic state level nominations.  State level award nominations are invited to the prestigious AFL Queensland Volunteer and Coaching Awards Night in Brisbane in September.

The most prestigious volunteer award, the AFLQ State Volunteer of the Year, receives a once in a life time experience: tickets, flights and accommodation for 2 to the AFL Grand Final, including participation in the Grand Final Parade.

Make sure your club and league nominate for all awards, to ensure your volunteers and coaches receive the recognition they deserve.

Award Nominations close Friday 26th July 2013
