The first weekend of NEAFL northern conference finals will feature two Sunday games in Brisbane.
When the dust settled on a remarkable final round tonight, Morningside and Aspley had claimed fourth and fifth positions.
They will meet in the elimination final at Esplen Oval, Morningside next Sunday at 2pm. There will be no curtain-raiser.
Mt Gravatt and the Gold Coast Suns Reserves will clash at Colburn Avenue, Redland in the qualifying final at the same time.
Because Mt Gravatt played today and the Suns yesterday, their final too had to be scheduled for Sunday so the Vultures were not disadvantaged by a six-day break.
The QAFL Reserves first semi-final will be played as the curtain-raiser at Redland between Mt Gravatt and Aspley.
