AFL Queensland will run the AFL Talent Identification Course first introduced in 2011 and recognised by the Australian Sports Commission and the AFL as an accredited Level 1 Course for those completing it.

Searching for an AFL Star is a full-time profession for scores of recruiting personal at the AFL Level. Thousands of others have an enormous impact on the lives of aspirants as they scout and select AFL Talent Squads and local, regional, state and national level.
Now has arrived the time to make the identification of Talent for a possible chance at the AFL a more educated process.
By attending this course and later applying your learning’s you will be in far better position to make judgements which ultimately may see your selection progress to the AFL or senior State League or AFL Queensland Talent Programs.
The AFL will be targeting some of Australia’s leading coaches and key recruiting staff to present at the course that will proceed the AFL National Draft to be held on the Gold Coast.
