Matchday coach needed for U13 Div 3 team.
Seeking an aspiring coach/administrator looking for hands on experience running a junior football team for a 14-week season. They would act as matchday coach of a team of developing players, with assistance at training from other experienced junior football coaches. The other coaches would also mentor and guide the 3rd team coach, along with a lot of enthusiastic parent support on match day.
No expectation on matchday coaching strategy other than positive re-enforcement for new players and a positive role model for 13 year olds.
Surfers Paradise Junior Football Club is a rapidly growing junior football club based at Bruce Small Park in Benowa on the Gold Coast.
The U13 boys age group have 65 registered players that will form 3 x teams in the 2023 football season, with teams fielded in Div 1, Div 2 and Div 3.
We have experienced junior coaches in place for our Div 1 and Div 2 teams and are seeking a Matchday coach for our Div 3 team.
This coach will run the team on Sunday matchdays with support from player parents as required.
All other matchday tasks will be coordinated separately by a Team Manager (Runner, Water Carriers, Goal Umpires etc).
Team training is on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and will be coordinated and supported by our other coaches.
