Three teams from Brisbane North attended the recent Sunfire Superstars carnival night.
Despite being from different schools, cultural backgrounds and with varying skill levels, the 30 girls all had a great time.
Whilst most of the girls have never played club football they show the enthusiasm and passion which will stand them in good stead to join in at club football level.
Coached by local Senior Women players and Brisbane North Staff the teams each played four trial matches in a bid to gain entry into the Sunfire Superstars Academy.
Via the Academy the girls will experience eight further sessions over the year to get them “game ready” for the 2013 club season.
Brisbane North congratulates all 30 girls for competing and hopes they continue on to club football in an effort to begin a North Side division to the Under 15’s Youth girls competition.
