Lenni Christi was the hero of the day for the Queenslanders with a late goal that sealed the fate of the fancied South Australian side.
The win brings the Queensland tally to 2 wins and 2 losses with a clash against defending champions Western Australia looming.
The combined Victoria/Tasmania side proved the Western Australians are fallible yesterday with an upset 10-pint win.
Northern Territor were also victorious beating New South Wales/ACT by 15-points.
