AFL Queensland today proudly announced a new partnership with Personalised Plates Queensland (PPQ).
With the community football season now underway and more people playing footy in Queensland than ever before, footy fans around the state are being encouraged to drive home their passion in the form of a personalised number plate.
“We know our footy community is passionate about their local club, it’s colours, history and team song and mascot,” said Head of AFL Queensland, Trisha Squires.
“Thanks to PPQ that club spirit can be captured on bumper bars with personalised plates!
“You can get your local footy club’s name, team song or website as the caption on your plates…it’s like a guernsey for your car.”
PPQ works with the Department of Transport and Main Roads and proudly supports the Australian Road Safety Foundation’s road safety initiatives across the state.
“We’re passionate about the Queensland stories behind all of our plates,” said Taylor Clifford, PPQ General Manager.
“Personalised plates are a way to celebrate each and every one of us.
“We love that every personalised plate has a character behind it and a story to tell. We’ve already helped Queenslanders tell thousands of stories so far, and we can’t wait to help the Queensland footy community tell a thousand more.
“With as many plates as there are Queenslanders, it’s your PPQ.”
The Coomera Magpies and Alexandra Hills Bombers have already jumped on board, creating personalised plates supporting their clubs.
PPQ supports our Queensland AFL teams too, with Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast SUNS theme plates available.
