AFL Queensland and the Gold Coast SUNS are teaming up to offer Queensland footy fans the chance to play AFL 9s at Metricon Stadium this Saturday, May 26th prior to the SUNS v Port Adelaide game.
The AFL 9s games will operate under a ‘Drop-In’ format. You simply register to play, turn up at Metricon Stadium on the day and AFL Queensland will arrange a team for you. Everyone will get to enjoy about an hour of AFL 9s fun in a social environment, and will get a ‘Gold B’ reserved ticket to watch the SUNS play.
What?

AFL 9s games will be followed by the Gold Coast SUNS vs. Port Adelaide match, which is included in the cost.
When?
Saturday, May 26th.
Gates open at 12:00pm.
AFL 9s will run from 12:20 – 1:45pm
SUNS vs. Port Adelaide starts @ 2:10pm
Where?
Metricon Stadium – Nerang-Broadbeach Road, Carrara, QLD, 4211.
Meet outside Gate 1 (fronting Nerang-Broadbeach Rd, east end) from 12:00pm. Look for the AFL 9s staff.

How Much?
SUNS Members – $15. Bring your SUNS membership card.
Non-Members – $30. Includes a ‘Gold B’ Reserved Ticket to the game (retail value = $47.50).

Event Info
Participants can bring a change of clothes and water bottles into Metricon Stadium, however shower facilities will not be available. There is a variety of food and drink available inside the stadium. Participants must be aged 16+ and we can arrange for groups of friends to play on the same AFL 9s team!
