New look male talent pathway

In 2017, the male Queensland Talent Pathway will have a slightly different look.

No longer will there be a Queensland Under 18 Academy, but rather, players will spend the year playing with their club Academies, the Brisbane Lions and the Gold Coast SUNS.

The will be an increase in the amount of Queensland Under 17 games, but the rest, from the Under 16’s down, will remain the same.

Here is a snap shot of what it will look like:

 

Under 18

Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast SUNS Academy teams.

 

Under 17

Queensland Under 17 side, which will play two games in 2017.

 

Under 16

Queensland
Will play in the 2016 NAB AFL Under 16 Division 2 Championships, as per 2016.

Regional
Under 16 Queensland State Championships, as per 2016

 

Under 14

Regional
Under 14 Queensland State Championships, as per 2016.
