Maroochydore has announced the appointment of Steve Moody as Under 18 Coach for season 2013.
He joins the Under 18s after five years coaching junior grades at Maroochydore Junior Club.
Moody was coach of the Sunshine Coast 15s Schoolboy’s team from 2010 to 2012 and the Queensland 15’s Schoolboys team in 2012.
During his time with the juniors, Moody was named 2010 AFL Queensland Youth Coach and Maroochydore Junior AFC Best club person for 2012.
Moody is a physical education teacher at Morayfield State High School and holds level two strength and conditioning accreditation, a certificate in training and assessment and a level two AFL coaching accreditation.
The club says Moody has the experience, skills and personality to match the club football strategy, which is heavily focused on player development.
