Brisbane-based NEAFL fans who can’t make it to Sunday’s grand final between the NT Thunder and Morningside can listen to a live ABC broadcast if they have digital radio.
NT broadcasting legend Charlie King will be joined by Suns Reserves coach Shaun Hart in commentary, with Ian Gustafson providing the boundary line insights.
The call will be heard on the ABC’s main band through the Northern Territory, and will be relayed through the ABC Digitial Radio 2 in Brisbane.
There will be no broadcast on NIRS this year.
The NT News will be conducting a live blog of the game with journalist Jess Webster (ntnews.com.au), while Thunder Vision will be streaming the game live on territoryfc.com.au
The best two quarters of football from Sunday’s game will be replayed on FoxSports’ Main Event Channel the following Friday.
