Labrador have enticed some ‘heavy hitters’ of the football world on the Gold Coast to be special guest speakers at the Tigers’ annual business breakfast on Friday 6 August.
Former Geelong grand final player and Gold Coast FC assistant coach Ken Hinkley along with Brisbane Lions three-tie premiership player Marcus Ashcroft and rugby league convert Karmichael Hunt head the celebrity line-up.
World no 15 WBA Super Middleweight Boxer Les Sherrington will add some variety to the gala breakfast, which is being supported by the Biggera Waters Community Bank branch of the Bendigo Bank.
Titled ‘Elite Success’, the breakfast will feature an extended address by Hunt talking about his adapting to the elite level of three different codes – League, Union and Australian Football.
The breakfast takes place at the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Surfers Paradise from 7-9am and tickets cost $55 or $500 for a table of 10.
