Friends and teammates of former Windsor Zillmere star Barry Karklis are holding a tribute function in his honor at O’Callaghan Park on Saturday, 24 July, from 12noon.

Family of Grogan Medalist and Queensland Hall of Famer Barry Karklis, who died of cancer last Wednesday after a long illness, have advised that they will hold a private funeral next week.
But former teammates and football friends of the former Windsor-Zillmere Eagles star are invited to attend the Zillmere Sporting Club, O’Callaghan Park, Zillmere Road, Zillmere from 12noon onwards on Saturday 24 July 2010 to say farwell to one of Queensland’s truly great players.
