Pine Rivers picked up a big win over Beenleigh, continuing their undefeated 2013 record at home.
A 10-goal third term proved the difference in the match, with the Swans running rampant.
Nathan Boucher kicked five in the win for the Swans, while centre-half forward Nick Murray played one of his best games of the year for the club..

“It was a terrific game and we played well against a pretty good side.”
“Our tackling count was right up and we played a lot of better than last week.”
“The wins against Beenleigh and Coomera hopefully has shown us we are more than capable of matching it but then there are the days when we don’t’ play well.”
“We need to address that consistency issue.”

Calamvale 1.3, 2.6, 5.11, 6.14 (50)
Logan is still in the finals hunt, after a big win over last-placed Calamvale.
The Cobras started strongly, with a four-goal lead at the opening break, and kicked fourteen goals to five for the rest of the game.
With the result, Logan sits in fourth, with a 6-4 record.
Wade Hurst battled hard yet again for the Leopards.

Griffith Moorooka notched up a solid win over Ipswich, entrenching themselves in the top three.
The Roosters’ David Gunn finished with seven goals, in a standout performance.
Ipswich youngster, Matthew Uebergang, continued his strong 2013 form, playing across half-back.

“We’re disappointed. It was a game we’d earmarked to win to put us in the finals hunt, but that’s footy.”
“They were a bit more physical early, their pressure on the ball carrier was better than ours,. As the game went on, we started to work our way in to the game and it was a little bit late.”
