A 10-goal haul from Ashley Templar set the tone for a Beenleigh victory, over Carrara on Saturday.
The Buffaloes were a class above the Saints from the get-go, opening up a 29-point lead at the first change.
Andrew Soutar and Christopher Greaves were also solid for the Buffaloes.
Jackson Smith kicked four for Carrara in the loss.
Coomera 22.24 (156)
Calamvale 4.4 (28)
Coomera bounced back from a shock upset last week, to trounce Calamvale on Saturday.
The Magpies sit a game clear on top of the ladder after the win, still firm flag favourites.
Joshua Murray kicked six for Coomera in the victory, while Blake Faulkner and Luke Gornall were also key to the win.
Calamvale’s Wade Hurst continued his strong 2013 form, again among the Leopards’ best.

Brad Steven (Calamvale):
“We started well, we went in hard and put our head over the ball and got ourselves into the game, but then the class of Coomera showed.”
“Against a side like they were, classy side and top side and considering our position, we did a reasonable job not to get completely blown out.”
Griffith Moorooka 4.7, 6.13, 8.15, 12.19 (91)
UQ Red Lions 1.1, 2.3, 3.5, 7.5 (47)
Griffith solidified a top-three spot, with a comfortable win over UQ on Saturday.
A four-goal to one opening term gave Griffith the early break, and the Roosters continued on from there.
Robert Butler kicked four for Griffith in the win.
Alexander Grummett was a shining light for UQ in the loss, while defender Mark Blackman had one of his best games of the season.
Without four of their starting midfielders, the Red Lions will be looking to improve in the upcoming weeks.

“We were competitive, we were running the game out better, and we tackled better.”
“I didn’t think the scoreboard reflected what the guys put in.”
“We had 14 players out of our side… I thought we did pretty well considering.”
Logan City Cobras 6.7, 9.7, 14.8, 15.14 (104)
Pine Rivers 3.0, 5.1, 6.3, 8.7 (55)
Logan remain in finals contention, after a solid win over Pine Rivers on Saturday.
The Cobras had all the opportunities in the first quarter, with 13 scoring shots to three, setting the tone for the rest of they day.
John Kennedy led the scoring for the home side with five.
Brent Burton had a strong game for the Swans, along with Daniel Dai and Sam Jones.
The win was Logan’s fifth for the year, putting them in fifth.
