The Western Rim Junior AFL Competition launches this Saturday with a day of family fun at Jimboomba Redbacks AFC.
There’s loads of activities for the whole gang including:
• Practice matches for Boys and Girls – 5 years to 12 years
• Brisbane Lions Players Appearances
• Gold Coast Suns Mascot Sunny Ray, giveaways and the AFL Skills Gallery
• Jumping Castle, BBQ and an opportunity to register for to play 2012
For those wanting to join in the practice matches, no football boots or uniforms are required.
This is a free event and everyone is welcome to help us celebrate a great new competition specifically for clubs located west of the Gold Coast.
And if you are heading to the Lions V Carlton NAB Cup match at Maroochydore , drop by on your way for a some warm-up AFL action!
