3 days until the draft: Gold Coast top 3

1.       The beach
Okay, this might seem kind of obvious but it’s really is the best thing to do on the coast. There are the high-profile swim spots like Surfers Paradise and Main Beach or you can head a little south to Nobby’s and Burleigh Beach. It doesn’t matter where you are, you can find a perfect spot to throw down your towel and soak up some sun.

2.       Beautiful one day, perfect the next

Barack Obama was basically stating the obvious when he pulled out this line in his speech during the G20– Queensland’s weather is unbelievable at this time of year. The sun is almost always out and when it’s not, you have front row seats to some spectacular storm action.

3.       The people watching
It doesn’t matter where you are on the coast, there are few places that attract such an eclectic bunch of people. Emos, yuppies, hipsters, families, surfers and tourists from all over the world come to the Goldy, each with their own motivations. So, pull up a pew, down a flat white and watch the world go by.
