AFL Queensland is encouraging all community football clubs to say thanks to their local coach in the Foxtel and AFL Coaches Association #ThanksCoach campaign.
In Queensland alone there are more than 4,170 accredited coaches who are responsible for shaping the players who shape our game.
Without them, there would be no Tippet, Zorko or Beams and Riewoldt would have no friends to play with at all.
To recognise the contribution grassroots coaches make to the success of players and the game, Foxtel and the AFL Coaches Association are teaming up to give 600 grassroots coaches around Australia the chance to win a #ThanksCoach Masterclass which includes the opportunity to spend time with the best AFL clubs and coaches in the business.
At the end of the Masterclass season, a select group of coaches will receive the ultimate coaching reward, with a money can’t buy experience that will see deserving local coaches win The Coach Trip of a Lifetime where they will travel to Melbourne for an unprecedented AFL Grand Final package.
