Yeronga AFC Men’s Assistant Coach & Line Coach

Yeronga has a long and proud history in AFL within QLD. Our values are grounded in a strengths-based approach where Respect and Inclusion, Community & building for Success are at the heart of our club.

We are seeking expressions of interest to join our expanding men’s coaching program as we build toward 2024. Roles include assistant/line coaches and development roles.

Yeronga is focused on developing coaches at all levels.
As such we welcome expressions of interest from those with varied coaching experience, you may be looking to hone your craft, or your experience may see you be able to help mentor our developing coaches, as well as players. Where not held, a commitment to obtaining level 2 accreditation is desirable.
We are committed to the success of our senior teams, reaching their full potential as well continuing to nurture our youth pathways into the senior club. Our coaching team will be supported by the head of football and wider committee and club.

Alongside our values, Respect and Inclusion, Community and Ownership, and building for Success we believe that leadership is not a top-down process. Our leaders should understand the power of vulnerability, be unselfish and without ego with a commitment to building the future of the entire club. Through our club development program, we have built a strong network to support this framework across our senior, youth and junior programs within our Club.

Roles are to commence as soon as possible with a focus on planning for the pre-season, player retention, talent identification and recruitment.
