The UQAFC Red Lions in conjunction with UQ Sport are proud to offer 2 x Australian Rules Scholarships for the 2013 academic year.
The scholarships are open to players of all levels who intend to attend The University of QLD in 2013 and applications will close at 5pm on October 31st 2012.
The UQ Sports Achievement Australian Rules Scholarships ares unique to the UQAFC across all clubs and competitions in Queensland and the club is proud to once again offer multiple opportunities for players studying at UQ.
With significant financial benefits, access to high performance training facilities and extended academic support, these limited scholarships are highly sought after. We are eager to welcome our scholarship holders into the rich Red Lion culture and foster their development into the best players and members of the community that they can be.

Following the UQAFC’s most successful season in its 57 year history, which saw the Red Lions play in 3 Grand Finals for 2 premierships, the club has been placed under the keen eye of the AFLQ with a view to playing in higher divisions in the near future.
