AFL Sunshine Coast Juniors Grand Finals will be held at Maroochydore Multi Sports Complex this Sunday August 30.
Teams will battle it out across seven grand finals, with the day kicking off at 9:00am with the Under 13 Division Three Grand Final between Coolum Beach and Bribie Island on Oval No.2.
The Under 13 Division Two clash at 9:30am on Oval No.1 sees the Pomona Demons taking on Maroochydore Green, followed by the Under 13 Division One final at 11:00am between the undefeated Maroochydore Roos and the Caloundra Panthers.
On Oval No.2, Mountain Creek will feature in both girls grand finals, taking on the undefeated North Shore Jets at 10:45 in the Under 15 Girls Grand Final, and Nambour/Maroochydore in the Under 18 Girls decider at 1:45pm. In between the two Girls Grand Finals, AFL Queensland will be conducting an Under 12 Girls Exhibition Match, as a lead in to the newly launched Under 13 Girls competition that will be implemented in 2016.
The Under 15 Grand Final at 1:00pm on Oval 1 between Caloundra and Coolum Beach is set to be an interesting battle, with Coolum Beach knocking off the previously undefeated Caloundra in the Second Semi Final at Noosa two weeks ago.
Rounding out the day will be the Under 17 Grand Final at 2:45pm, with traditional rivals Noosa and Maroochydore set to battle it out for the final flag on offer.
Parking is available via the Fisherman’s Road gate, and entry is $2 per adult.
