The Sandgate Football Club is one of the original QAFL clubs and was established in 1943. The Hawks are currently playing in the QAFL and are seeking the services of a strong Senior Club Coach.
The Sandgate Hawks have had a long history in the local area and has a strong junior base of both male and female teams.
We field teams in all grades and for the past two years a senior ladies team. We are currently in the process of a rebuild of our dressing room facilities, will soon be undertaking work to improve or coaches boxes.
Earlier this year we also had a total upgrade of our playing field, so will have up to date and modern facilities.
The Hawks have a great young list at senior level, gaining four raising star nominations this year.
To build on these great platforms we are seeking a coach who can retain and build the existing playing group and to assist in bringing mature and key positional players to improve the team dynamic.
The club would consider both playing and non-playing candidates and will also be looking to fill Reserve Grade and U18 coaching positions.
After some lean years both on and off the field, we are looking for an individual who believes the can have a positive impact and influence our immediate future.
