The Ride for Love is back for its second year in 2018 in the name of the Childhood Cancer Support.
This is your opportunity to experience the thrill of a Harley-Davidson ride while supporting Childhood Cancer Support.
In 2018, the Ride for Love carries a personal feel for those within the AFL Queensland community.
AFL Queensland umpire and former Labrador Tigers junior, Nathan Andrews, has been diagnosed with leukemia, and the ride will help support him and many others like him.
The Ride for Love will take place this Saturday, August 11 from 7am-3pm.
Beginning at Gold Coast Harley-Davidson is Nerang, the ride will take lucky pillions through the Gold Coast Hinterland, with sightseeing and morning tea along the way.
Riders will stop at the Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital to visit the kids before a stop at a local park where Childhood Cancer Support will provide a barbeque lunch.
After the visit to the hospital and lunch in Brisbane, the rise will head back to the Gold Coast.
Childhood Cancer Support is a small, family-focused organisation at the forefront of identifying the needs of oncology families.
Since their establishment in 1975, thousands of families affected by childhood cancer have been supported through the charity.
All money raised through the Ride for Love will be donated to Childhood Cancer Support.
