Budding footballers will have the opportunity to hone their craft with some of Queensland’s top developmental coaches with the Brisbane Lions Academy Summer Skills Program set to kick off in the new year.
Registrations for programs in three Brisbane Lions Academy Zones are still available.
The programs are designed to provide future stars the opportunity to further develop and hone their skills and football nous in preparation for the 2019 season.

Brisbane North
The Brisbane North program will operate as a six-week program and will comprise of two separate programs for boys and girls respectively.
The Girls program will commence on Wednesday January 23 and conclude on February 27 at Zillmere AFC.
The Boys program will commence on Monday January 21 and will run through to February 25 at Pine Rivers AFC.
The program is designed for boys and girls aged 12 to 15 and costs $90 which includes a training top and coaching.

Location (Girls): Zillmere AFC, 340 Zillmere Road, Zillmere

Brisbane South
The Brisbane South program will operate for six weeks on Monday afternoons commencing on January 21 and concluding on February 25.
The program is designed for boys and girls aged 12 to 15 years old as costs $90 which includes a training top and coaching.
Please note places in the Brisbane South program are limited.
Location: Moorooka Australian Football Club.
Program time: 4:15pm – 5:30pm

Wide Bay
The Wide Bay program will operate for six weeks on Monday afternoons commencing on February 4 and concluding on March 11.
The program tailors for boys and girls aged 10 to 13 and will take places across two locations in the Wide Bay regions at both Hervey Bay and Bundaberg.
Cost for the program will be $70 which includes a training top and coaching over the 6-week period.
Hervey Bay location: St James Lutheran College
Bundaberg location: Shalom College
