A 23-man Queensland Under 17 team has been announced to take on Tasmania next Saturday.
The team, made up of players eligible for the 2017 NAB AFL National Draft, will take on a Tasmanian Under 17 team on June 11 at Twin Oval in Tasmania.
The game will provide the Under 17 players from this years Queensland State Academy, as well as the Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast SUNS Academies, the opportunity showcase their skills against Tasmania’s best.
Kicking off at 10am, the match will curtain raise the round 1 NAB AFL Under 16 Championship game between Queensland and Tasmania, which gets underway at 12pm.
