QAFL fans can listen to Sunday’s PowerAde Cup grand final between Labrador and Morningside at Coorparoo live on NIRS.

Tune into 98.9fm from 1.30pm to hear all the action right through until 5.30pm.

And if you’re heading to the match, don’t forget to take your radio so you can keep up to speed with all the action.

Richard Griffiths and Shane Johnson will call the action, with Danny Craven and Peter Blucher to provide expert commentary and background information on one of the most eagerly awaited QAFL grand finals in a long time.

There will be boundary line interviews from both camps before, during and after the game, plus special interviews with players from both sides.

Also, the NIRS team will look forward to next week’s 2010 AFL grand final.

Gates will open at Coorparoo on Sunday at 9am, with the Reserves Grand Final between Morningside and Southport at 11am.

First bounce in the main game will be at 2.15pm, with presentations due about 4.50pm.

If Labrador break through for their first QAFL premiership it will be presented by former Essendon AFL player and three-time Labrador Gold Coast League premiership coach Neville Fields.

And if Morningside claim back-to-back flags that very special honour will go  to triple Panthers premiership ace and long-time favorite son Brad Edwards.
