PBC State High’s AFL program is providing talented 13 and 14 year old students the opportunity to develop their ability in AFL football, while receiving an education in one of Queensland’s highest performing state high schools.
A significant contribution from Matt Electric, owned by former PBC AFL student Matt Hanley, 8 of South-East Queensland’s best AFL footballers have received a sporting scholarship to help them achieve their dreams of becoming AFL footballers.
In the last 2 years PBC has excelled in the Under 14 age group, winning the Queensland State Championship and Northern States Cup, a schools competition for the best teams from Queensland, Northern Territory, New South Wales and the ACT, in 2010 and 2011.
