Graeme Pratt has commenced as North Queensland Development Manager.
He brings to the role extensive game development experience within the AFL industry, most recently as Western Jets Regional Development Manager for AFL Victoria.
Mr Pratt was instrumental in the establishment of the Collingwood Football Club’s Multicultural Program before taking the reins as Community Development Officer in Victoria’s northern region.
Mr Pratt said he was thrilled with the opportunity to support the growth of AFL in North Queensland.
“A key emphasis will be to continue the building of relationships with all stakeholders, partners and volunteers who provide pathways for boys and girls to learn about healthy lifestyles, friendships and teamwork.”

The North Queensland Development Manager oversees delivery of all Game Development programs in Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Capricornia and Mt Isa.
The role is also responsible for developing the North Queensland strategy, providing opportunities for talented players and supporting leagues and clubs.
Speaking of the appointment, AFL Queensland CEO Michael Conlan said Mr Pratt would be a key driver of AFL Queensland’s vision for North Queensland.
“North Queensland is a key growth area for AFL in Queensland and we are committed to growing participation through quality programs, clubs, leagues and events,” said Mr Conlan.
“Graeme’s extensive experience in the community, diversity and talent sectors makes him the perfect fit for the North Queensland Development Manager role and we are delighted to have him on board.”
Mr Pratt will be based in Cairns.
