NAB AFL Auskick programs kick off for 2012
As the 2012 school year kicks off, so too do NAB AFL Auskick programs across the state.
Open to primary-school-aged children, the Auskick program teaches fundamental football skills in a fun and friendly environment.
Generally run weekly at school or a local AFL club, Auskick session combine technique activities with fun games to help participants learn.
Each session ends with a game of AFL Auskick Rules, giving kids the chance to show off their new skills.
Parents are encouraged to join in with some of the activities and games, providing opportunities to make new friends, learn about AFL and spend quality time with their children.
With over 200 NAB AFL Auskick centres operating this term, Auskick is the perfect activity for both boys and girls to start learning about Australian Rules Football.
The $60 program fee covers Auskick sessions for seven weeks as well as a 2012 Auskick backpack which includes a football, cap, water bottle, stationery set, height chart, activity book, NAB Kick Back book, footballs cards, a football pump and a pair of Zaidee’s Rainbow Foundation shoelaces.
