LIONS STARS HELP POLICE TEAM

Tuesday 20 September 2011

The Queensland Police Service assisted with security and traffic flow around the NEAFL northern conference grand final last week, and now have their own big games to look forward to.

The Queensland Police team will participate in the Australian Police AFL Carnival in Adelaide shortly and No.1 supporter Jonathan Brown has assisted their fundraising efforts by providing four outstanding football items for auction.

They include Brown’s playing jumper and a pair of his boots, fresh with grass stains still on them. Both jumper and boots have been signed by the Brisbane Lions champion.

Three-time club champion Simon Black has also donated and signed a pair of his playing boots.

And Luke Power has given his playing boots too.

The football memorabilia can be viewed at the Greys Online Auction centre, with bidding starting Wednesday 21 September through until Monday 26 September.
