Ex Hawthorn Senior Coach Peter Schwab will headline the AFL Queensland level 2 Coaching course to be held in over the 12th & 13th of November at AFL Queensland’s Yeronga Administration & Training centre.
Schwab, who currently the director of Coaching for the AFL, spent 4 years at the Hawks taking them to the finals in his first two seasons after playing 171 games including three premierships during the clubs most successful period.
Other guest presenters will include coaches from the Brisbane Lions and Gold Coast SUNS as well as 4 time Australian Olympic Rower Bo Hanson and other leading Queensland coaches.
The Level 2 Course is designed for Youth & Senior Coaches who would like to continue their coaching development. Aspects that will be covered in the course by the expert presenters will be:
· Developing Team Culture
· Stoppages/Midfield
· Developing Drills
· Communication/learning styles
· Skill Remediation
· Plus lots more!
