Six lucky schools have been selected to play at half time in front of thousands of fans at the Gabba next month.

As part of the 2011 Carol Berry Cup Girls’ Primary School Competition, all teams who entered before last Friday’s cut off date were eligible to be randomly drawn to win the offer.

The winning schools are:

Chevallum State School (Sunshine Coast)
Clontarf Beach State School (Brisbane North)
Craigslea State School (Brisbane North)
Bay View State School (Brisbane South East)
Chatswood Hills State School (Brisbane South East)
Yeronga State School (Brisbane West)

The girls’ will play during the half time break of the Brisbane Lions vs North Melbourne match on Saturday 11th June.

Later this week we will announce the six schools from the Gold Coast/Northern Rivers area, competing in the Carol Berry Cup, who have been randomly selected to play at Metricon Stadium, home of the Gold Coast SUNS, when the SUNS also take on North Melbourne next month.
