The Kenmore Bears Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for a Colts Coach & an Assistant Coach for the 2020 Season.
The Bears are having another successful year on the field with our Seniors and Reserves in finals contention, made possible with a large talented player list and have decided to have a Colts team to provide a path way from the Junior clubs in the Western Suburbs to Senior Football.
We pride ourselves on being a community-based club that draws players from all over Brisbane. We are seeking high quality individuals to join our Coaching group, who bring a passion for the game, ability to relate and develop these young men as people and footballers and who want to be part of a great club culture.
We will provide the successful applicants with a squad of players, having developed links to local Junior clubs and schools, Coaching support from the Senior Coaching Group, and access to a Sports Trainer.
The applicant should be able to assist in the Club’s football and coaching strategies, implement a game plan effectively, communicate effectively and have great interpersonal skills to work alongside everyone at the club.
– Minimum AFL Level 1 accreditation
– High level knowledge and experience as coach working with Youth players
– Blue card accreditation
– Good communication skills
We would like to appoint the Coach prior to October to have them involved in the 4-6-week preseason before Christmas with the Senior Squad.
