AFL Queensland has announced a new partnership with Bradnams Windows and Doors; the proud wholly Australian-owned family business has been named as the AFLQ Umpiring Support Partner.
The new partnership will see the Bradnams name featured prominently on umpire uniforms across the state.
Community Football Manager, Queensland, Barry Gibson, said the Bradnams two-year partnership further compliments AFL Queensland’s increased investment into umpiring across the state.
“As our game continues to gain momentum around the state, the growth and retention of our umpires is a major strategic priority for our business and one that requires ongoing investment,” he said.
“It’s always fantastic to see businesses such as Bradnams supporting our game, but even more so with umpiring, as it helps in our endeavours to raise the profile of an incredibly important part of game.
“The Bradnams name has had a long-standing association with Queensland football and we are delighted to have a brand of this magnitude involved with our team in green.”
Since their humble beginnings in a backyard in Hervey Bay in 1977, Bradnams Windows and Doors is now recognised as a leading supplier for the Australian construction industry.
SEQ General Manager, Ben Stackelberg, said they’d been sponsoring various charity groups and local sporting teams for over four decades and were thrilled to be working with AFL Queensland.
“We enjoy aligning ourselves with sporting teams and organisations that see value in providing a safe and supportive environment for all stakeholders who also have positive engagement within their local communities,” he said.
