Meet Brett from the University Hawks NAB AFL Auskick Program.
Brett is in his eighth year as an Auskick Coordinator and is doing an amazing job at the Hawks ensuring his Auskickers are enjoying themselves and learning about Aussie Rules! Thanks for all your hard work!
We had the opportunity to ask him a few questions regarding her program…
How many years in NAB AFL Auskick/Club?
“I’ve been at the club for ten years and have been involved in the Auskick space for the last 8 years”.
Why did you get involved in NAB AFL Auskick?
“I initially got involved because of my two boys but as they progressed through the grades I kept putting my hand up as it’s so much fun seeing the smiles on their faces as they combine fun games with the footy.”
“I still coach in the higher grades.”
What is your favourite thing about NAB AFL Auskick?
“I love being involved in providing fun and safe based football activities for the next generation,”
“Seeing the smiles on participant’s faces and engaging with them on their level to make sure it’s fun for everyone.”
“I love seeing and hearing from children who were involved in Auskick and are now still having fun with their footy and remembering special moments from their Auskick days.”
